Artificial Intelligence and machine learning are now integral to a wide range of products and services across industries, such as health care, financial services, life science, retail, and manufacturing. By enabling computer systems to analyze vast quantities of data, recognize patterns, autonomously perform tasks, and learn from experience, these technologies are transforming the way humans use and interact with machines and benefit from their incredible processing power and speed.

The final two days of the event focus on AI as it relates to societal, ethical and legal issues. Portuese's panel, "Global Competition for AI Supremacy and the Impact on Regulatory Schemes," examines the impact of global regulatory schemes on AI development.
