Aaron Woolf is a director of global policy for economic security at the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA), offering direct support for SIA’s export control, sanctions, and foreign investment regulations, among others. Aaron joins SIA from the U.S. Department of the Treasury where he served as a Deputy Director for the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States, focused on the Committee’s non-notified work. Aaron previously spent nearly a decade on Capitol Hill with experience in both the United States Senate and House of Representatives, serving on the Senate Homeland Security Committee as well as the staff of Representative Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas).
