Maggi Lazarus

Maggi Lazarus is with the Law Offices of John T. O’Rourke, a boutique law firm specializing in legislative and executive branch representation. The firm is engaged in the representation of clients with respect to banking and financial services, tax, telecommunications, and international trade matters. Ms. Lazarus joined the firm in 2000, and since that time has devoted herself to the representation of clients on a variety of legislative issues, including tax, banking, trade, intellectual property and gaming.

Before joining the Law Offices of John T. O’Rourke, Ms. Lazarus litigated as an attorney in a law practice representing clients in civil commercial lawsuits, encompassing antitrust, RICO, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, tax and Title VII claims.

Ms. Lazarus received her undergraduate degree (B.A., foreign affairs) from the University of Virginia, and her law degree from Tulane University (J.D., cum laude), where she was a member of the Law Review. She is a member of the Virginia and District of Columbia bars.
