Rob Boyle was a senior policy analyst working with ITIF’s Clean Energy Innovation Program. Based in Brussels, Rob worked on clean technology innovation in the EU and United Kingdom, particularly in light of the European Green Deal and the objective of reaching carbon neutrality by 2050. His previous experience includes work at the European Commission as a speechwriter at DG CLIMA, and in the European Parliament both as a political group policy advisor on International Trade and as a political advisor in the offices of several MEPs working on policy areas including: Energy; Climate; Civil Liberties, Justice & Home Affairs; Employment & Social Affairs and Fisheries. He has an LLM in International Law from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom, a BA in Politics, and was fortunate to participate in the Erasmus exchange program, spending a semester at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.
