Tim Shinbara

Tim Shinbara is Vice President, Technology for AMT – The Association For Manufacturing Technology where he is responsible for the Information Technology and Manufacturing Technology departments. His team is responsible for research and development, standards, and review of manufacturing technology trends and needs. Tim is the Executive Director and a Board officer for the MTConnect Institute and has served on multiple committees for the DMDII and America Makes. Tim has over 16 years of technology development and implementation experience spanning military applications, corporate R&D, and small business/start-up ventures.
